Getting to St. Barths:

Most visitors arrive in St. Barths via St. Maarten (the Princess Juliana International Airport - SXM) and take either a Winair, Air Caribes or St. Barths Commuter for the final 10 minute leg of your trip.

Flying time to St. Maarten is approximately 4 hours from Philadelphia, 3½ hours from New York, and 8 hours from London. Flying time from St. Maarten to St. Barths is only 10 minutes.

General St. Barths Information:

Currency: The Euro is the currency in St. Barths

Voltage: 220 volts (U.S. appliances will not work without a converter and, in most cases, a transformer.)

Time Zone: St. Barths is one hour ahead of the U.S. East Cost when daylight savings time is not in effect. Otherwise, it is the same time zone.

Entry Requirements: A valid U.S. Passport is required for entry into St. Barths. If you are not a U.S., European or Canadian resident you must also carry a visa.
